A place of shared psychosis

I joined Parler because I was really curious to see what they were doing differently than twitter. I wanted to first-hand exerperience their solution of a platform that would allow people with varying opinions to have a healthy debate without censorship. But what I found instead was that it is a place full of hate mongers. They do NOT want to debate. They only want to spew random opinions with no facts whatsover. Just a hoard of conspiracy theories with the sole purpose of creating more chaos and spreading hate.

I thought Twitter had a troll problem but Parler takes it to the next level!

I think Parler has perfectly situated itself in attracting people who speak utter nonsense. The memes are not funny and the users echoing the post also add more unrelated comments to it with an eye-rolling agenda.

Parler users can serve a great case study to understand how such people get to this point and whether there is any way to help them get better. Or have they gone too far to a point of no return. Most Parler users exhibit immense resentment.

Not one message on Parler seems like its users want to have a constructive conversation. The level of ego is so high — they are all equally delusional. They genuinely believe they are 100% right about their opinions and they want a platform to express those ludicrous opinions. The real issue is that out of the 100 ridiculous opinions they share, 1 or 2 might be of real concern and they might be onto something but it nullifies and discredits the entire narrative by appearing nothing short of an angry, bitter, paranoid, untrusting, disturbed, comically self-righteous group of individuals.

The upside might be that all the negativity and hate will migrate from Twitter to “the world’s town square” aka Parler. One can only hope…

Who is John Matze?

Just an ambitious individual who aspires to run a tech/media platform that eventually becomes as big as Facebook and Twitter. And he will capitalize on anything that will get him there. Realizing that there is a niche audience not being served by Twitter and Facebook, he will without fail glorify the features that will allow him to gain more users for his platform. Totally understandable!

But does he genuinely care about censorship? Not as much as he desires to join the list of elite tech entrepreneurs. That’s his endgame! He’s taking notes from the politicians’ playbook. Whatever gets him a fan following, either for him personally or for his platform.

This is the funniest shit you will see — “Parler’s viewpoint-neutral policies foster a community of individuals who tolerate the expression of all non-violent ideas.” (Parler Values)

Parler users may not be explicitly sharing violent ideas but it sure does feel like they want to blow America up becuase of Joe Biden’s win, COVID restrictions or Bill Gates plan for world domination…the list goes on.

Elle doesn’t like Windows. She’s so cool!

This is amazing. Check this very thread to see the proof of Parler people being crazy!

I am sure this person is also a Trump supporter 🤦‍♂️

I am not choosing sides — I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican. When you have drug addicts and homeless people on the streets of America, it tells you that even the greatest country in the world is not so great due to ineffective governance whether that stems from lack of intent or corruption or both — that’s up for debate.

Assumptions made

  1. 99.9% of Parler users (actively participating) are Trump supporters.
  2. Most Parler users are not successful or don’t feel successful (the successful ones are here just to have another platform with a fan following)
  3. Most Parler users feel they are victims of an oppressive system.
  4. Most Parler users contradict themselves all the time — It must be hard living like this that’s why they all seem so bitter.
“‎Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I’m an agent of chaos…” ― The Joker

Oh and…Alex Jones is an agent of chaos. He is like The Joker but without the face paint. Although the gif is of Jared Leto’s Joker, I see more similarity with Heath Ledger’s Joker especially because of the following quote:

When the chips are down, these… these civilized people, they’ll eat each other.

Alex Jones lives to put these chips down.
